Petite & Belle - what a gorgeous store!
Hello to Petite & Belle. I am sure you'll all agree this store looks just gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
Petite & Belle will be featured in the July issue of Country Style and are located in Yass.
Can't resist.
A man takes his dog to the vet. "My dog's cross-eyed, is there anything you can do for him?"
"Well" says the vet, "let's have a look at him." So he picks the dog up and examines his eyes, then checks his teeth.
Finally, he says, "I'm going to have to put him down."
"What? Because he's cross-eyed?"
"No, because he's really heavy."

1950s Childrenswear
You may or may not know but I'm completely obsessed with childrenswear from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. I love, love, love British Universal Stores old catalogues and found this divine picture of a fantastic girl's dress. Look at that collar!
Rosy cheeks and doe-eyes were really big in the 1950s.

Swedish Princess Cake at Oobi
We are huge fans of Swedish Princess cake... cake with marzipan green icing, raspberries, custard and cream can't be wrong at all, can it? It's so girly and, well, princessy!
I was thinking I'd try my hand at making one for the Oobis in the office (especially since I've been feasting on scones and cupcakes and everyone else's offerings and I never bake). Then I checked out the recipe and... oh gosh. What a job!
